Muttaigose/Cabbage poriyal with Egg

Ingedients:

  • Egg: 2 Nos
  • Cabbage:250 gms(Cut the cabbage into small pieces.)
  • Mustard
  • Red Chillipowder
  • Turmeric powder(optional)
  • Salt
  • oil
  • Garlic  1 small piece(optional)

Preparation Method:

Pour Oil(2 spoons) in the saucepan ,once it is heated put mustard and wait till it splutters.If you are using garlic just smash garlic and add after mustard splutters.Add the cabbage and close it for a while so that it cooks in the steam.Once it is cooked properly add chilli powder and turmeric and salt.Fry the ingredients for a while untill the chilli powder smell goes off.Fry untill the contents are dry.Once its dry and u feel things are fully cooked then break the eggs and add them to the cabbage.Now continuosly stir the contents .You will find a fine egg coat over each cabbage piece.Once the egg is cooked remove it from the stove and garnish with cilantros.The tasts will be similar to egg scrambles.
